The Willow Tree Centre is a specialist bespoke provision within Telford College of Arts and Technology for students aged 16 – 19 (Full Time) and Post 19 (Part Time for 1 year) who have Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex needs.

We have a passion for excellence in education for all and for making learning experiences engaging for all students. We believe that young people benefit from a positive and happy ethos characterised by excellent relationships between staff, parents, families and students. The Willow Tree Centre provides a secure and calm learning environment to help all students achieve high standards in their learning by giving them the opportunity to achieve and make progress in relation to their starting point. We are committed to the holistic development of each individual student and create a happy, stimulating working environment, where expectations are high and values are important, to enable students’ learning to prosper and flourish. 

The Willow Tree Centre offers quality education which is age appropriate and is as inclusive as possible according to each student’s individual needs.  The Centre receives advice from a range of health professionals in order to meet the assessed needs of individuals.

Specialist rooms include a sensory room (funded by the National Lotto), Life Skills room, Hair and Beauty, Food Technology and ICT suite.  Where appropriate students are supported  to access the wider college community.
